Gary Wayne Mosher, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home in St. Helen, MI at the age of 59. He was born on June 19, 1966, in Sandusky, MI, to George and Connie (Stracenrider) Mosher. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his family and friends. Gary lived in St. Helen for the past 10 years, formerly of Lapeer, MI.

Gary dedicated a significant part of his career to Lapeer Industries and Lear Corporation in Roscommon, where his commitment and work ethic were well-respected by colleagues.

Outside of his professional life, Gary was a man of varied interests. He enjoyed the thrill of hunting and found great joy in reading, particularly the novels of Stephen King. Music played a significant role in his life, as he frequently attended concerts and loved spending time at the casino. He was an avid fan of sports, passionately following baseball, football, and hockey, as well as the excitement of NASCAR racing.

He was a devoted father to his children, Danielle Mosher, Jessica (Ziggy) Mosher, and Casey Mosher. His love for them was evident in the countless moments spent together, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. Gary is also survived by his father, George Mosher, sister, Sue (Shayne) Moore, along with his nephew, Shayne, and niece, Connie.

Gary is predeceased by his mother, Connie, and his grandparents.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, particularly his family, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Lapeer.
