Geraldine Forsyth

Geraldine Forsyth, age 93, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at her home in West Branch with her family and friends by her side. She was born on August 30, 1927 in Grosse Pointe, MI to Harold and Marie (Painter) Wilkinson. Gerri was a graduate of Denby High School in Detroit, MI. She married Donald Forsyth on February 18, 1949 in Detroit. Gerri is preceded in death by the love of her life, Donald, who passed away 3 weeks and 3 days prior.

Gerri is survived by her son, Michael (Kathy) Forsyth; daughter, Kelly (Mike) McLellan; grandchildren, Amy and Scott Forsyth and Jesse McLellan; and great grandchild, Carson McLellan. Gerri is also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Wilkinson.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and interment of ashes will be at Ogemaw Springs Cemetery in West Branch.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Ogemaw County Humane Society.
