Harold L. Clason

Harold L. Clason, age 81, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2006 at his home in Lupton. He resided in Lupton since 1980, formerly of Rochester Hills. Harold retired from the Pontiac Post Office in 1972, was President of the Old Timers Club, a life member of the VFW, served in the Marine Corp in World War II and was secretary of the Post Office Clerks Union . Harold married the former Patricia Ann Dean on June 14, 1945 in Pontiac. Surviving family members include Harold’s wife Patricia of 61 years, son Marty (Robin) Clason of Lake Orion, son Harold (Debbie) Clason of Rochester Hills, son Ronnie (Anne Ferner) Clason of Rochester Hills and daughter Ellen (Gilbert) Scott of Lupton; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving Harold is his sister Maxine Franklin of Lapeer and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Harold in death were his parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and his daughter Suzanne A. Spaven. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be held on Friday, October 13, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Sunday, October 15, 2006, visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home in Auburn Hills from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Pixley Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Hurst and Bob Lutz officiating. Burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
