Herbert "Hobie" Lucas

Mr. Lucas passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had been a resident of West Branch for all of his life. He enjoyed outdoor activities. Mr. Lucas is survived by his wife, Patricia Lucas of West Branch, children--Terry Lucas of Shepherd, Jack Lucas, Debbie (Cary) Lucas-Stevens, Tamee (Tony) Fantozzi, Hobie (Traci) Lucas and Samantha Lucas all of West Branch, and Patti (Mark) Shotwell of Grand Blanc, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sisters--Virginia Knack, Lucille Shellenbarger, Betty Kartes, Mary Nestle, Barbara Johnson, Peggy Zimmerman and Claudia , brother Eugene Lucas and Richard Smith. He was preceded in death by his sister Vivian Hamilton and brothers, George Lucas, Charles Lucas and Johnny Lucas. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 6, 2003, 5:00 P.M. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The family will be present to receive friends beginning at 4:00 P.M. Memorial Contributions may be made to the National Rifle Association.
