Irene R. Curtis

Irene R. Curtis, age 95, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Medilodge of Sterling. She was born on September 5, 1924 in New York City, NY to Joseph and Rosalie (Serafin) Zavoluk. Irene has lived in West Branch since 1945. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Catholic Council of Women.

Irene is survived by her children, Leith (Beth) Curtis Jr. of Gulf Shores, AL, Linda Curtis of West Branch, Joe (Patty) Curtis of Alpena, Michael (Carol) Curtis of West Branch and Rosalie Curtis of West Branch; 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; and brother, Michael Zavoluk of Queens Village, NY. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Olga Lord.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
