Jimmie Dewayne Morgan Jr.

Jimmie Dewayne Morgan Jr., affectionately known as Jim, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, in Lupton, MI. He was born on August 11, 1969, in Flint, MI. Throughout his life, Jim was known for his unwavering devotion to his family, which he cherished above all else.

Jim's career took him to Family Fare, where he became a reliable and well-respected team member. His work ethic was matched only by his commitment to his loved ones. Jim was a devoted husband and father; he found joy in the simple moments spent with his family, and his world revolved around them.

He loved shooting pool and playing poker with friends and family. An enthusiastic sports fan, he enjoyed watching football and was a proud supporter of Michigan athletics. In quieter moments, Jim found entertainment in playing games on the computer and ghost stories.

Jim leaves behind a loving family that includes his daughter, Journie Ann Morgan. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Charlotta and Richard Bean, and his father and stepmother, Jim and Debbie Morgan. He is also remembered by his sisters, Michelle Morgan, Cory Corlew, and Cherie Gunsell, as well as his stepsister, Denise Johns, and stepbrother, David Howard. His brother-in-law, Matthew (Tracie) Bean, mother-in-law, Melodee Davis, and all of his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also hold dear memories of him.

Jim is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved wife, Michelle Morgan, who passed away after sharing thirty wonderful years together.

Jim's legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate through his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.

A memorial dinner will be held at a later date.
