John Charles Klein

John Charles Klein, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at his home in West Branch, MI. He had lived in West Branch since 1995, formerly of St. Clair Shores, MI. John was born on October 21, 1938 in Detroit, MI to John and Ruth (Chedister) Klein. He was a United States Army Veteran and National Guard Veteran. He married Carol Reno on February 14, 1987 in Detroit. John was a lifetime member of the AMVETS Post 29 in Mt. Clemens, MI and a former member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge in West Branch. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, watching college football and the Red Wings.

John is survived by his loving wife, Carol of West Branch, MI; sons, John, wife Janice of Belleville, MI and Michael of Detroit, MI; dearest grandson, John, wife Christina of St. Clair Shores, MI; step son, Robert Rust of Lake, MI; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother, David Klein of Farwell, MI; and special friend, Tom Forton of West Branch, MI. He is preceded in death by his father, John; mother, Ruth; and daughter, Karen.

A private service will be held.
