John Wesley Castle Jr.

John Wesley Castle Jr., age 66, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI. He was born on February 11, 1958, in Flint, MI to John and Katherine (Taister) Castle Sr.

His family and friends called him Jack. He owned and operated Castle Memorial Excavating with his wife of 38 years, Leann (Fisher).

Jack retired to his farm in Prescott, MI where he raised soybeans, hunted deer, and fished whenever he had a chance.

Left to cherish his memory are wife, Leann Castle, brother Rick (Karen) Castle, sister Terry Lynn Castle, nephew Ricky (Lisa) Castle, niece Kimmy Blohm, and great nieces Lily and Maddy.

He was preceded in death by his parents John “Popy” and Kathy, and brother Kenny Castle.

Cremation has taken place

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery on Old State Rd. in National City, MI.  A luncheon will follow at Richland Township  Hall, 3620 McLean Rd., Prescott, MI 48756.
