Joyce Lee Parent

Joyce Lee Parent age 71 of Prescott, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. Joyce was born July 24, 1941 in Tawas, the daughter of Roy and Cora Coates. She had lived in Prescott for most of her life. Joyce was Deputy Treasurer of Logan Twp. and member of the Eastern Stars. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing. Joyce is survived by daughters, Shirley Parent of Prescott, Kimberly Parent of Prescott, Andrea (John) Hudson of Prescott, grandchildren, Jonathan (Samantha) Hudson of Fayetteville, NC, Ashley (Shawn) Koettel of San Antonio, TX, great-grandchildren, Prudence, Neiko, William, and Jayden. Also surviving is sisters, Donna (Joe) Embeltem of Blue Springs, MO and June McClure of Farmington Hills. She is preceded in death by husband, William Parent.
