Judith Kay Hensley

Judith Kay Hensley, née Tidball, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at her home in West Branch, Michigan, with her daughters by her side at the age of 83. Born on February 28, 1943 in Flint, Michigan, Judith will be remembered with love for the warmth she shared with her family and for the simple joys that brought happiness to her life.

Judith lived in West Branch for 20 years and was formerly of Flint, MI. She enjoyed RV traveling, knitting, and playing Texas hold'em. She loved music, especially oldies, and found great happiness in the moments she spent with those she loved most. More than anything, spending time with her family meant the most to her, and that devotion remained at the heart of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Hensley of Flint, Michigan, and Traci Hensley of Niagara Falls, New York. She is also survived by her siblings and their families: Ron and Jackie Tidball; Ronnie Tidball; Shannon and Chad Smith; Hannah and Alyssa Smith; Sandy Tidball; Cindy Topous; John and Glenda Tidball; and Lea Tidball; and her cat, Snickers. Their lives, along with the many family memories they shared, were an important part of Judith’s life and will continue to carry her memory forward.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Hensley; her father, John Tidball; her mother, Marguerite Tidball, née Melzow; and her brother, Bob Tidball.

Judith will be remembered for her love of family, her enjoyment of life’s pleasures, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will remain a lasting blessing to her family and friends.

Cremation has taken place and no services have been scheduled.
