Kathy graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield, VA in 1968, after which she pursued further education at Virginia Tech. Driven by a strong work ethic and a commitment to public service, she dedicated her career to the government as a computer specialist for the Department of Defense, serving from 1970 until her retirement in 2003.
