Keith Allen Yost

Keith Allen Yost, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Keith was born on April 21, 1938, in Oil City, MI to Harold and Goldie (Knopp) Yost. He lived in West Branch, formerly of Jackson and Ann Arbor.

Keith married Patricia (Teachout) Rice on January 7, 1979.

Keith graduated from Harrison Schools in 1956. He was an accountant and floral designer. He was a member of the Mio Baptist Church and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Keith enjoyed woodworking and antiques.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Patricia of West Branch; son Ed (Christine) Rice of West Branch; grandchildren Kimberly (Isaac) Clelland of Michigan Center and Kyle (Shelby Bergholtz) Rice of Grand Rapids; great grandchildren Zachary, Xander, and Kira; sisters Carole Ann (Richard) Kaleto and Mary Jane Hilton; sister-in-law Arlene Yost; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother James Yost, brother-in-law Kenneth Hilton, and granddaughter Stephanie Rice.

Visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at Mio Baptist Church, 357 S Mount Tom Rd. Mio, MI on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
