Kenneth Wayne Good, (Uncle Kenny) age 84, of Prescott, MI, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Monday, June 10, 2024, not because he did great things or was without sin. He joined the membership of the family of God when he seriously accepted the mercy and grace of God’s love, through Jesus Christ. ” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). He was born on July 7, 1939, in a house on Boughner Lake Rd, one mile from the house he passed away in, to the late Orville and Mamie (Weaver) Good. He has lived in Prescott for most of his life.
On June 11, 1966, he married his only love, Gail L. Klawuhn in Flint, MI.
Ken worked as a hospital administrator until his retirement, then worked for JCAHO. He enjoyed birdwatching and was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gail Good, and his brothers-in-law, Art Klawuhn and Doug Klawuhn, and sister-in-law Brenda (Good) King as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, George and Alvin, and his sisters-in-law, Leona Good, Jan Eden, Gail Ann Klawuhn, and Marsha Klawuhn.
Visitation will begin at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Zion Bible Church in Prescott on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Kevin Switzer and Pastor Tom Harvey will officiate.
