KALEIDOSCOPE OF LIFE

Nine decades have flown by
Since that May in Thirty-Three,
When Lawrence Ray made his entrance
For all the world to see.

First-born in the family
You grew from boy to man.
College and the Army
Were soon part of the plan.

Marriage and two children
Beginning steppingstones
Into your future
Filled with many unknowns.

This chapter in your life
Was played out in time.
A father with two boys
Creating a new story line.

A new-found family came your way
Adding a girl and boy.
For the years it lasted
Tears were mixed with joy.

Two families grew together
With challenges to face.
Working in Colombia
Absorbing the beauty of that place.

Life took a new turn
When the children were grown
You found a soulmate
While living alone.

Fate was knocking at your door
With a big surprise.
A special love was waiting
That your heart could not disguise.

The life you built on love
Grew more precious each day;
Memories of friends and fun
You had along the way.

With family and friends,
Who have multiplied
Your Lockhart legacy
Could not be denied!

You would often reflect
On special days gone by
Recalling all those moments
That put a twinkle in your eye.

We can now reflect
As we keep you in our heart
On your kaleidoscope of life
Of which we were a part.

Your imprint will live on
In generations yet to be.
Linking together
The Lockhart family.

Larry will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary Lu, son Ken (Cathy), stepdaughter Sara (Dave) Robbins, daughter-in-law Cindy, and sister-in-law Carol along with the grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
