Lorraine W. Franchino

Mrs. Franchino, age 83, passed away at her home. She had been a resident of West Branch since 1975, having formerly lived in Dryden for 5 years and Rochester for 17 years. She was a member of the Wildwood Whirlers and the Farm Bureau. Mrs. Franchino is survived by her son, Peter (Vera) Franchino and daughter, Anita (William) Bartman both of West Branch, 5 grandchildren--Toni, Paige, Brent, Nichole and Rhett, 3 step grandchildren--Linda, Ramon and Aprile, 5 great-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Franchino and 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday July 10, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 4:30 P.M. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bessemer, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
