Lowell Raymond Bailey Sr.

Lowell Raymond Bailey Sr., age 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at The Villa at Rose City. He was born on July 5, 1934, in Cadillac, MI, to the late Holly and Lucy (Cowley) Bailey. He lived in Lupton for the past 3 ½ years, formerly of Edmore, MI.

Lowell will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. He had a contagious laughter that brought joy to those around him.

In his free time, Lowell enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and motorcycles. He had a talent for woodworking and created beautiful pieces with his skillful hands. He found solace in nature while fishing and loved the thrill of riding motorcycles.

Lowell is survived by his children, Diana Bailey, Marjorie Amidon, Lowell (Hope) Bailey Jr., Julia Stacy, Ronald (Brenda) Bailey, Robert Bailey, Leah (Troy) Plank, and Ryan Bailey. He also leaves behind his sister, Barbara Falconbridge, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leslie Bailey and Holly Bailey.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
