Mabel C. Hurd

Mabel C. Hurd, age 101 of St. Helen, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at her home. She had lived in St. Helen since 1972, formerly of Detroit. She was a charter member of Lake St. Helen Baptist Church. Mabel is survived by her son Darrell (Onalee) Hurd Sr. of Hillman, 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Hurd, a granddaughter, 8 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation at Lake St. Helen Baptist Church will begin on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Roger Green will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
