Marshall Raymond Hartman

November 23, 2004 — June 12, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family and friends announce the passing of Marshall Raymond Hartman.

Marshall was born on November 23, 2004, to his father Nathaniel Hartman and his late mother Amber Reeves (Perkins) in Youngstown, OH. Marshall lived in Prescott since 2021 and graduated from Insight School of Michigan in June of 2023. Marshall aspired to become a United States Marine and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps on June 9, 2022, and departed for Marine Corps Recruit Training on May 30, 2023.

Marshall displayed himself as a quiet, but comical and easy to talk to individual. He enjoyed being around others that shared the same passions and interests as him. Marshall embraced spending quality time with his family, listening to metal music, taking care of his prized quail, playing one of his guitars and working out with his friends. He was a hard worker, with a can-do attitude: no challenge was ever too hard for him. Marshall also shared a lot of the same core values as the Marine Corps- being honorable, courageous, respectful, and committed. He gave his best to everything he did. Marshall was a great man and will be forever missed.

Marshall is survived by his Father Nathaniel Hartman, his adoptive mother Leah Hartman, Grandmother Dea Perkins, Grandmother Lynda Flowers, Grandfather Brian (Tammy) Hartman, Uncle John (Deborah) Perkins, Uncle Jarrod (Brittney) Hartman. He has many cousins and great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother Amber Reeves (Perkins), Grandfather William Perkins and his beloved Uncle Aaron Hartman.
