Mary E. Sherman

Mary E. Sherman, age 85, of West Branch died May 31, 2005 at West Branch Regional Medical Facility after a brief illness. Mary was born on December 10, 1919 to William and Margaret (Sullivan) Butler in West Branch. Mary was a bookkeeper and worked at several business's including Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Homes. Mary also enjoyed baking cookies and sharing them with family and friends. Mary is survived by a brother Charles Butler (Hazel) of West Branch and sister-in-law Ann Butler of Hopkins. Also surviving are two nephews John Butler (Pat) of West Branch, Richard Marx of Marquette and a niece Renee Ryland (Tom) of West Branch. Mary was preceded in death by a brother Leo Butler and two sisters, Josphine Payea and Gertrude Marx. Graveside services will be on Saturday June 4, 2005 at 11:00A.M. at Denton Twp. Cemetery, Prudenville, Michigan. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands of West Branch.
