Merald C. Hopkins

Merald C. Hopkins, age 88 of Prescott passed away at his home Saturday, October 10, 2009. He had lived in Logan Township since 1949 and served in the Marine Corp during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0422 of Hale and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Merald is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Robertson of Lupton and Bernice David of Prescott. He was preceded in death by his wife, Orpha Hopkins. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday October 13, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Selkirk Cemetery.
