Michael Harley Lehner, 78, a kind and simple man, was born on Tuesday, July 9, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at The Brook in Standish, Michigan.
Throughout his life, Michael owned many small businesses, including those focused on training therapy dogs and most recently conducting Builder Licensing classes. His passion for animals, particularly his beloved German Shepherds, brought joy to his life. He also worked for General Motors at Fisher Body for 23 years. He enjoyed gardening, building and remodeling, dedicating time to these hobbies whenever he could.
Michael is survived by his sons, Timothy (Missy Kaiser) Lehner of West Branch, Jeffrey Lehner from Davison, and his granddaughter, Vanesa Ann Lehner. He also leaves behind his brothers, Ray Bunzow and Carl (Diane) Bunzow.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norm and Pearl (Turner) Bunzow; his wife, Cynthia (Keen) Lehner; and his sister, Joyce Yurcso.
Michael's wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services planed at this time.

Michael's legacy will be remembered by those who knew him for his kind spirit and his dedication to his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
