Mickey Lee Gilboe

Mickey Lee Gilboe, age 42, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. He was born on July 16, 1978 in Lapeer, MI to Adrian and Debra (Lott) Gilboe.

Mickey lived in the Prescott-Skidway Lake area for the past 40 years. He graduated from Whittemore Prescott High School in 1997. He was an EMT and Firefighter on the Richland Township Fire Department and Plainfield Township. Mickey enjoyed working outdoors, mowing grass, welding and construction work. He liked to spend his free time around a big bon fire, hunting, fishing, camping, and kayaking with his girls.

Mickey is survived by his daughters, Kaitlyn (Mario Hernandez II) Gilboe, Mariah Gilboe, and Carlie Gilboe; parents, Adrian and Debbie Gilboe of Prescott; and brother, Andrew (Vicki Riker) Gilboe of Prescott. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

The funeral service will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in West Branch. Rev. Tim Dibble will officiate.
