Nancy Carol Aubert

Nancy Carol Aubert, age 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025, at The Villa in Rose City, MI. She was born on August 8, 1940, in Detroit, MI. A loving mother, cherished grandmother, and devoted sister, Nancy touched lives with her warm heart and vibrant spirit. She lived in Rose City since 1970, formerly from Flat Rock, MI.

For a decade, Nancy poured her love and dedication into her work as a waitress and hostess at the Kountry Kitchen/Rose City Cafe, where she delighted patrons with her kind smile. However, her most fulfilling role was as a mother and grandmother, raising her family with unwavering love and support.

Her passions enriched her life. Whether she was gardening, enjoying trips to the beach, or gathering for holidays with loved ones, each moment was an opportunity for connection. She found solace in bird watching and shared her home with the warmth of dogs and cats, creatures that mirrored her loving nature.

She is survived by her two sons, Steve Immel and Robert Immel; grandchildren, Benjamin, Sara, Robert, Kristina, Whitney, Jason, and Teya; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet, Penny, and Bobby, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Bernetta (Mexicotte) Aubert, her son Fred, ex-husband Charles LaVern and her brothers Thomas and Richard.

A graveside service will be held at Lane Heights Cemetery in Lupton, MI on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with visiting starting at 1:00 p.m.
