Nikki Ann Kenworthy

Nikki Ann Kenworthy, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. She lived in Rose City, MI most of her life.

Nikki was born on August 22, 1955 in Saginaw, MI to Gordon and Ruth (Kindell) Bettis. On July 23, 1977 she married Stephen Kenworthy.

She loved her grandchildren more than anything. She also loved to read, and was a constant patron of her local library. Her dog, Chip, was her loyal companion. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and spent her career teaching at Standish Elementary School.

Nikki is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Steve Kenworthy of Rose City; son, Trent (Amanda) Kenworthy of Kalamazoo, MI; daughters, Marie (Matthew) Perry of Bridgman, MI, and Lisa (Christopher) Theunick of Mattawan, MI; grandchildren, Kira, Nora, Arianna, Elena, Tay, Penny, and Claire; siblings, Steve Bettis of Newberry, Sheila Champion of West Branch, Mark (Kim) Bettis of Whittemore, and Christine Bettis of West Branch.

She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved mother-in-law, Gladys Kenworthy.

A memorial mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Ogemaw District Library in Rose City.
