Patsy Ann Marshall

Patsy Ann Marshall, age 86, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at The Brook in West Branch. She was born Friday, April 12, 1935 in West Branch, MI to Raymond and Ada (Wangler) Trout. She has lived in West Branch her whole life. Patsy was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch, and belonged to the CCW. She volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul and was on the Churchill Township Election Board for many years. She worked at the Gamble Store, Ivan’s Place, Carscallen Store in Selkirk, and retired from WBRC School Food Service Department. Patsy enjoyed flowers, bird watching, camping, crocheting, knitting, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family.

Patsy is survived by her children, Calvin (Barb) Marshall of Lupton, Cindy (Bob) Trout of West Branch, Kenny (Cheryl) Marshall of West Branch, and Tom (Debbie) Marshall of West Branch. She has 7 grandchildren Kris Marshall, Klint (Marie) Marshall, Craig Trout, Kurt (Brandy) Trout, Eric (Liz) Marshall, Brian (Chelsey) Marshall, and Lisa (Devin) Huber, along with 11 great grandchildren Lyddia, Calvin Jr., Carolyn, Lane, Jacob, Claire, Hazel, Thaddeus, Madelynn, Corinne, and Olive. Patsy is also survived by her siblings Geraldine Chrivia, Roberta Smith, Gloria Thompson, and James Trout.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, brother-in-law, Jack and sister-in-law, Charlene.

Visitation for Patsy will begin Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Her funeral mass will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Fr. Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate with burial at the Selkirk Cemetery.
