Paul Lawrence Danna

Paul Lawrence Danna, age 56, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his home in Rose City, Michigan. He was born on February 25, 1970, in Livonia, Michigan, to Salvatore and Emma (Ferranti) Danna. Paul lived a life filled with devotion to his family, friends, and passions, touching the hearts of all who knew him.

A man of many interests, Paul enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly hunting with his wife and children. These moments in nature were opportunities for him to create lasting memories with those he loved most. He also took great pleasure in riding the side by side with Lori, sharing laughter and adventure amid the tranquil beauty of the outdoors.

He is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Lori Danna, with whom he shared countless cherished memories and adventures. Paul was a dedicated father to his daughters Sara (Michael Bullock) Danna, April (Matthew) Sanders, and Samantha Danna. His love and support extended beyond his immediate family—he held a special place in his heart for his sons-in-law and was a true father figure to the friends of his daughters, guiding and caring for them as if they were his own.

Nothing brought Paul greater happiness than being “Papa” to his grandchildren—Denise, Michael, Alana, Tyler, Cole, and Miracle. His grandchildren truly were his entire world, and their laughter and love filled his days with immense joy and purpose. The legacy he leaves in their hearts is rich with memories of gentle encouragement, open arms, and unconditional love.

Paul is also survived by his sister, Anna Danna, and his brothers in law, Robert (Patti), Gene (Lynn), and Kurt (Jenny) Kruszynski, as well as his mother-in-law, Carol Kruszynski, who called him “Paulski”. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Kara, his very special friends, Lina and Larry Krol, and many close friends.

Paul’s is preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Emma Danna; a brother Michael; grandchildren, Francis, Timothy, and Bentley; and father in law, Eugene Kruszynski, who preceded him in death.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his joyful presence, and above all, his commitment to his family. As a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Paul touched countless lives.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
