Paul Ernest Newton

Paul Ernest Newton, age 77, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI. He was born on December 20, 1942 in Port Huron, MI to Okey and Adele (Schlicht) Newton. Paul lived in West Branch since 1995, formerly of New Baltimore, MI. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion Post #416. He enjoyed scrapping and spending time with his family.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Diane Newton of West Branch; children, Kelly Jo (Kelly) King of Croswell, Wayne Newton of Jeddo and Jennifer (Corey) Hampton of Port Huron; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchild; and sister, Barbara Steel of Fort Gratiot. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Carol and Selma.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
