Phyllis Ann Goff, age 73, departed this world on Friday, February 13, 2026, in St. Helen, Michigan. She was born on October 24, 1952, in Jackson, Kentucky to Kelly and Sallie (Morris) Spencer. Phyllis lived in St. Helen since 1998 formerly of Northville/South Lyon, MI. She graced the lives of many with her unwavering faith, tender spirit, and deep love for her family.
On April 11, 1968, she married Earl Goff in Elkatawa, KY, at pastor's home.
Phyllis had many interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. She enjoyed the challenge of puzzles, often spending hours immersed in crossword books and word finds. Her passion for gardening allowed her to cultivate beautiful flowers, creating a serene sanctuary where she found peace. Phyllis had a whimsical side, too; her sweet tooth led her to indulge in delightful treats along with a refreshing 7UP.
Phyllis was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Earl Goff. Together, they created a nurturing home that radiated warmth and care. As a proud mother, she cherished her sons, Earl (Lynda) Goff, Travis (Misty) Goff, and Joshua (Jennifer) Goff, instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and respect. Her legacy continues to shine brightly through her cherished grandchildren, Tracie Southers, Cory Goff, Connor Goff, MaKayla Goff, Andy Gertz, Molly Mullen, Mason Cole, Maddix Ford, and Levi Phoenix. Phyllis found immense joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, and she often reflected on her love for her great-grandchildren, Josalyn Southers and Lillie Miller, whose laughter filled her heart with boundless happiness. Phyllis was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Darcus, Irene, Ray, Grace, Golden, Emma, and Loretta. Their memories were cherished by her, and she carried them in her heart throughout her life.
Visitation will begin at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen. Phyllis's son, Pastor Travis Goff, will officiate.
Phyllis Ann Goff's spirit will live on through the love she shared and the lives she touched. Her faith, compassion, and dedication to family will forever inspire those who were blessed to know her.
