Rebecca Lynn Shore, affectionately known as Becki, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, at her home in Alger, MI, at the age of 58. Born on March 12, 1967, in Bay City, MI, Becki's journey was marked by a deep commitment to her family and an unwavering dedication to her career as a nurse in home healthcare, where she shared her nurturing spirit. She worked as a home-health aide where her clients were family.
Her educational journey led her to Delta College, where she received her associate's degree in nursing. This accomplishment laid the foundation for a career that would see her touch many lives with her compassionate care and understanding heart.
Becki was a woman of diverse interests, who loved to travel and explore new sights. She had a zest for life that was evident in her passion for trail riding and her belief in the magic of fairy hunting and unicorns. The color purple was a representation of her vibrant spirit. She enjoyed watching her grandkids band concerts, wrestling matches, volleyball games, baseball games, and football games. She especially cherished the time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted fiancé, William Klemmer, and her children; Cassandra (Jeremy) Green, Joshua (Brianne) Marsh, Tiffani (Justin Ward) Rouse, and Brittani (Timothy) Obey; and step son William Klemmer Jr. Becki was a proud grandmother to Nathan (Amber Lage), Abbi, and Nickolis Green, Aaron, Joshua Jr., Wyatt, Charlotte, and Joseph Marsh, Mckenzi Murphy, Logan, Ethan, and Maddison Ward, Miles Obey, and Skylar Layne. Her legacy of love and joy will continue through each of them.
Becki was the loving sister of Anne (Frank) Boddy, Jerry Jr. (Jeanie) Shore, and Darrin Adcock. She is also survived by her stepmother Sharon Shore and her heart was also connected to her in-laws, James and Jeanette Klemmer. Her impact within the family extended to her nieces, Nicole Tremblay, Celina and Autumn Shore, Natasha Shore, and Molly and Leslie Shore, as well as to her nephews, Frankie and Robbie Boddy, and Vincent Shore, along with a multitude of great-nieces, great-nephews and many family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Shore and Theresa Champagne, along with her sister Clea Strange and brother William Shore.
Becki's radiant spirit and love for life have left an indelible mark on all of us. As we reflect on her life, we are reminded of her unyielding kindness, her adventurous spirit, and the warmth she shared with everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
