Reed Wilson, age 80, of West Branch, MI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Reed was born to Fred and Bessie (Combs) Wilson on December 20, 1945 in Elkatawa, Kentucky. He was one of 10 kids. Reed was a Vietnam Veteran. He was married to Sherry (Charron) Wilson on September 12, 1981 in St. Helen and then relocated to West Branch in 1986 with his family.  They were married for almost 44 yrs before Sherry had passed. Reed was the father of Shellie, Byron, and Sheena whom he loved dearly.

Reed is survived by his daughter Shellie, from a previous marriage, and his son Byron (Tonya); his grandchildren Aaron, Logan, Salem (Hunter), Tidus, Hayden (Paige), Jade, Memphis, and Laken; and great grandchildren Bentley, Royce, and Winston.  He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Lou and Maudie.

Reed was proceeded in death by his wife Sherry, his daughter Sheena, grandson Kohl, his parents Fred and Bessie, and seven siblings Edward, John, Eugene, William, Lonnie, Lona, and Deliaha.

Reed will be remembered for his love of watch sports on tv, especially anything University of Kentucky, collecting hats, spending time with his family and picking up others discarded pop cans early in the morning around down town West Branch. Reed will be missed by all that loved and knew him.
