Robert "Bob" E. Carroll

Robert E. Carroll, age 78, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch, MI. Bob was born to James and Ruth Carroll on June 11, 1935 in Capac, MI. He was a member of St. Helen Community Baptist Church and American Legion in Detroit, MI. Bob enjoyed golfing, cooking, baking, and baseball. Bob is survived by his children; Natalie (Joe) Polzin of Cedar Rapids, IA and Robert (Diane) Carroll of Shelby Twp, MI, his grandchildren; Andrew, Adam, Michael, Cassie, Luke, Ashley, Matthew, Jonathon, Julie and Michael, and his great grandchild; Sophia. Also surviving is his brother, James Carroll of West Branch, MI and his sister, Elizabeth Campbell of St. Helen, MI and many cousins. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Lee Carroll and his brother, George Carroll. Visitation at the St. Helen Community Baptist Church will begin on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate.
