Rolland Fay Honeywell, born on Thursday, January 27, 1938, in Flint, MI, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at MyMichigan Health in West Branch, MI. He was a hardworking man known for his dedication and love for his family and friends.
Rolland had a fulfilling career, retiring from the GM Flint Chevy Plant #10. In addition to his work there, he also owned an excavating and snow plowing business for many years. His strong work ethic was matched by his passion for life, which included being an avid gun collector and a lover of animals.
As a proud veteran of the US Army, Rolland served his country in Vietnam, a testament to his sense of duty. He was a loving father to his son, Christopher (Jill) Honeywell of Florida, and his daughter, Vicky (Edward) York of Raymond, NH. Rolland cherished his grandchildren, Olivia (Morgan) Litchfield, Emily Honeywell, Mikalah York, Gracie York, and Aidan York, as well as his great-grandchildren, Myles, Liberty, and Mayzie.
Rolland is now reunited with his beloved dogs, McGruder and Winston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Ada (Berry) Honeywell. His memory will be fondly remembered by his family, who will carry on his legacy of love and hard work.
