Sara Louise Halstead

Sara Louise Halstead, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at her home in Prescott, MI. She was born on September 23, 1964 in Los Angeles, CA to Stanley and Sharon (Hancock) Walker. Sara lived in Prescott for the past 5 years, formerly of Wisconsin.

Sara volunteered at the Humane Society in Wisconsin, Laney’s Voice, and Claws and Paws Rescue in West Branch, MI. She enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, friendship bracelets, and diamond paintings. She was a big Harry Potter fan.

Sara is survived by her sons, Francis (Colleen) Donovan Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, Christopher Donovan of Prescott, and Aaron (Cassiddy) Saunders of Waukesha, WI; grandson, Lucin Saunders of Waukesha, WI; significant other, Andy Saunders of Prescott; brothers, Rodger Reed and Mark Stagger; sister, Cindy Melcher; nieces, Ashly and Ash; nephew, Hunter; and many friends and extended family.

Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled at this time.
