Shirley Ann Barton

Shirley Ann Barton, age 74, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the West Branch Regional Medical Center. Shirley has been a resident of St. Helen for 30 years previously of Saginaw. She enjoyed reading, fishing, and traveling and loved her dog “Rosie”. Shirley is survived by her husband of 55 years Albert Barton of St. Helen; daughter Jeri Lynn (Bill) Steckling of Sparta and granddaughter Melanie Auzins of Sparta. She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Mable McCorkle and a grandson Anthony Benjamin Steckling. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen at 3:00PM. Family will receive friends from 2 hours prior from 1-3 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Daniel Stoneback will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
