Shirley Mae Niedowicz

Shirley M. Niedowicz, age 80 of St. Helen, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2008 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Shirley had lived in St. Helen since 1969. She was a member of the American Legion Post #416 and she loved gardening, the Detroit Tigers and being with her family. Shirley is survived by her husband, Walter of St. Helen, children, Linda Leopard, JoAnn Wojtylko and Nancy (Dennis) Wise all of St. Helen, grandchildren, Wally (Vicki) Sidelko, Katie (Rick) Rutledge, Jamie (Rob) Mulky, Tony (Jessica) Wojtylko, Casey (Lynn) Perryman and Megan (Drew) Wise and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Madison, Joey and Denny and many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 3-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Ken Peterson will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
