Susan "Chico" A. Peets

Susan "Chico" Peets, age 50, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City, MI. Susan has lived in Rose City since 2010, formerly of West Branch. She was born to Frederico and Angelita Gonzales on April 27, 1963 in Menard, TX. Susan enjoyed working, milking cows, and farming. Susan is survived by her children: Kara Oakes and Dakota Oakes, both of West Branch, MI; siblings: Frederico Gonzales of TX, David Vasquez of TX, Diane Partlo of Las Vegas, NV, and Rose Schmidt of Rose City, MI; her sister-in-law: Peggy Kocks of Prescott, MI; and her special nieces: Teresa Crain and Staci Santiago. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband, Lester Peets. A Memorial Service will be held at a later time. Arrangements were handled by Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI.
