Susan R. Gillette

Susan Rose Gillette, 73, of West Branch passed away June 14, 2014. She was born in Wayne County, Detroit, Michigan on January 22, 1941 to Paul and Caroline (Green) Norton. She graduated from West Branch High School. Sue enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and playing cards, and games with family and friends. She also volunteered for several organizations. She most enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. Sue is survived by her sons, John (Crissa) Gillette and Chuck (Nicole) Gillette, as well as her siblings, Helen Nuttall, Patricia (Dennis) Hennig, Dan Norton, Diane Jameson, Nancy (Don) Clark, Paulette (Jon) Peckat, Gloria Knowles (Ed Hennig), and Jim (Kim) Norton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Charles (CJ) Gillette, Ian Gillette, and Laughlin Gillette as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Per Susan's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014, 1-3pm at the home of Chuck and Nicole Gillette.
