Velma Diane Grezeszak

V. Diane Grezeszak passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7,2026, at Hale Creek Manor in Hale, MI.

Diane was born October 13, 1943, in Livonia, MI to Archie and Velma (Stokes) Howell. She graduated from Rose City High School. She met and married Chum (Wayne Lawrence) Grezeszak on August 26, 1961, and shared more than 61 wonderful years together before he passed away in March of 2023.

Diane and Chum owned and operated Hi Skore Lanes in West Branch from 1968 until their retirement in 2004. She loved bowling, dancing (especially polka dancing), playing dominos and marbles.

Diane and Chum have three children; Larry (Carla) Grezeszak of Whittemore, Rhonda (Andre) Charbonneau and Cheryl Chizzini both of Pompano Beach, Florida. They also have four grandchildren; Erin (Joshua) Blakely, Cody (Brianna) White, Savanna (Cody) St. Germain, and Brayden Charbonneau and great grandson, Garrett Blakely, along with another great grandchild on the way.

Diane is survived by her children and grandchildren as well as her siblings; sister Darlene (Thom) Jones and brother Gary (Eileen) Howell. Diane is also survived by many nieces and nephews who love to share memories.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Chum, sister Patricia Clayton, brother-in-law Jack Clayton, grandson Tyler White and great grandson Gunnar Blakely.

A Memorial will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking to have donations sent in her honor to Hale Creek Manor, 3191 M 65 Hale MI 48739.
