Wayne Arthur Williams, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at The Brook in West Branch, Michigan at the age of 86. Born on December 29, 1939, in Humeston, Iowa, Wayne lived a life marked by dedication to his family and his many passions.

Wayne was known for his love of the outdoors and spirited engagement in numerous hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, golfing, hunting, and farming—activities that not only brought him joy but also created lasting memories with those who shared in these pursuits alongside him.

Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Williams, who stood steadfastly by his side through the years. He is also survived by his daughter, Reva (Scott Houser) Williams. Wayne’s legacy continues vibrantly through his granddaughter, Danielle (Jason) Kearney. He is further survived by his brother, Richard Williams and step-grandchildren, Spencer, Matt and Michael Houser.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Oren and Edna (Davidson) Williams. He also leaves behind the memory of his son, Clayton Williams, as well as his sisters, Lucille Davis and Lavera Williams, and his brother Merwin Williams.

Throughout his years, Wayne’s presence was a source of strength and warmth. His enduring spirit, marked by kindness and his sense of humor, leaves an indelible imprint on all who knew him. As a man who treasured both family ties and the simple joys of life, Wayne’s memory will be lovingly upheld in the hearts of his loved ones.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
