William A. Keller

Mr. Keller, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2003 at his home in St. Helen. Mr. Keller had been a resident of St Helen since 1979 formerly of Auburn Hills, Michigan. He was a member of the American Legion, St. Helen Post #416, a past post commander of the Auburn Hills American Legion Post #143. He was a member of the Eagles Club of West Branch, the Multi Lakes Conservation Association of Commerce Township and a past member of the CCC. Mr. Keller was also a WWII Veteran. He retired from Superior Metals in Auburn Hills after 36 years. Surviving family members are his wife-Harriett Keller of St. Helen, 2 sons-William A. Keller of St. Helen and Raymond (Lora)Keller of Cadillac, 5 grandchildren,3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister--Sarah Wright and a brother-Arthur Keller. Visitation for Mr. Keller will be held at the Steuernol and McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen Sunday, December 14, 2003 from 6-9 P.M.and Monday from 1:30 to 9 P.M. The Funeral will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at 1:30 P.M.The American Legion Post #416 will be conducting the services. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen. Memorial Contribution may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
