William J. Gust

William J. Gust, age 82 of West Branch, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Mclaren Bay Special Care Hospital in Bay City. William was born December 31, 1929 in Brownhelm, OH, the son of David and Natalia Gust. He had lived in West Branch since 1973, formerly of Dewitt. William was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles both of West Branch, and the American Legion in Laingsburg, MI. William is survived by children, David (Channon) Gust of St.Helen, Diane Slater of Lansing, Dorene (Brian) Cagle of Charlotte, grandchildren, Greg, Annette, Dawn, Melissa, Danny, and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is brother, Don (Esther) Gust of Coleman. He is preceded in death by wife, Gladys Gust and brother, Emil “June” Gust. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Branch Eagles Club #3646.
